But there was one thing I heard from PI head coach Monty Stumbaugh that sums it all up. "This ain't Thursday night football, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!" Our lil' YouTube stars need to realize that and pick up the pace.[/quote][/b]
I agree and this is where you separate the men from the boys. When the going gets tough the tough get going. Even though tough this experience will have them bring up their game. I am pretty sure they will come together by season's first game. It is not about individual but team work and each has to bring out their best game. I feel confident of this group though. It will start coming together by next scrimmage.

Harlingens center still needs to work on snapping the ball...saw a few snaps cause the timing to be off on a few plays. This is a new offense being run, completely different from last year...for the most part i see Murphy making better decisions than last year, had the option to throw deep a few times, instead choosing to throw to a sure 5-7 yards open Receiver...PI does have some hitters on that D though...im sure they will get it together by the time the season begins....Gluk to the Tarpons.

Man...South is gonna have the worst turnaround going 10-0 last season to 0-10 this season. If I was Cherry I'd hang it up already and just focus on getting those Hawks to improve.

And how about that rotund ref that got knocked down a couple of times. Both got the crowd going early on.

Are you a teenage girl? I guess your sources were right. South lost 7-0, but like I said their a very weak team and plus their JV was horrible last year. PI could probably beat South and give you guys a run for your money. awwww...now you are name calling me...must have hurt ur little feelings or something....typical little cards...they get into a little losing streak and act like a child....go play some more 3a schools

I tried to ask you legit questions in other threads, but all I get in response is pure ignorance and immaturity. Grow up and try to use this forum the way it was intended for. If I was you I would be embarrassed, people from across the Valley and the State read this and can see how pathetic your posts are...

IMPRESSIONS OF HARLINGEN : Right from the beginning, Harlingen came out fired up for this scrimmage. I think this played a huge role in intimidating their opponents. Defensively, they didn't have a lot of monsters, but they had a LOT of speed and a LOT of aggresiveness. LBs were constantly shooting the gaps (which I thought was kind of weird b/c I thought you couldn't blitz during scrimmages) and disrupting PI's gameplan. Wonder if they will be able to to this against a team that is more evenly matched. Offensively, QBs looked good (especially the 2nd string). As mentioned earlier, they were living and dying by the pass. (shotgun formation). PI defense would come up big one play, but Harlingen found themselves able to convert those 2nd/3rd and long situations w/ relative ease. (once again, can they do this against a bigger team has yet to be seen). Overall, Harlingen does look good, but like Alaniz said, I expected them to bury PI by at least 5 TD. (nothing against PI ;d) Well, if you combined the controlled and the live you get 7 TD's to PI's 0. I do give credit to PI's defense they played well. The newspaper guy had 3 td in the controlled part and 13-0 in game situation basically 5-0 Anyhow, Harlingen's #7 WR was a huge target all day, what's the story on him? Oh, and did anyone see Rollie play? Hard to see em without their numbers! ;D

So Rollie got injured early, Diego is out with the hand injury, and just watching the video they say Joe Vega had a head injury. Looks like the depth chart is dwindling unless all the new injuries Rollie and Vega are minor ones. Anyone got the scoop on the injury chart for PI?
On that video clip thanks to Guy Joe did look like his usual running skills as in the JV videos. And either he has gotten even bigger or the camera shot made him look bigger. Was Jude Green in action on the backfield or defense? And how about the rest of the players? And I know without the numbers on jerseys hard to know who played or did not.
