I'd rather watch this match-up over "Battle of The Arroyo this season
What bettter way to have week 1 of football with two storied programs that meet for the first time?A true G.O.T.W.
It's been a while(05 season) since I've felt so much hype for the Cards this season.Alot of returning starters;a new offense w/strong D and a killer non-district shedule!

There is nothing wrong with accepting a shirt with a redbird on it as a gift. It would automatically improve your taste in t-shirts, considering I imagine you only have LF shirts. ;D Make mine 100% cotton. Nylon blends tend to irritate my tushie.

QB mack sanchez, is a jr., great athlete, played varsity basketball as freshman. reminds me of bubba ledsma from a few yrs. back. he will be on the field this year, QB or not. one of the best athletes in the program.

he makes better decisons and throw's, when being pressured. murphy has proven in big situation to not to get done. whoevers the best should play, i guess we will just have to wait and see:

Is he a better QB than Murphy?? I think Murphy is ahead of Mack. If last nights 7 on 7 would actually count, Murphy is alot better.

When is the PI vs. Harlingen scrimmage?
Need to plan ahead and make the drive down from Houston to see this. I wouldn't miss this for anything!

You might want to catch that scrimmage along with the EE/Harlingen, Mchi/Harlingen and Harlingen/san benny preseason games too. They should all be pretty good.

Ok I found the date.
August 16th (on a Saturday, YES!) at 10am. I will be there!
The Cards are the other team that I've always followed, mainly since I know full well Port Isabel won't be playing them in the regular season, but this scrimmage I won't miss for anything.

I will be there to check it out. I am glad coach gomez scheduled PI and EE. Although the PI game is a scrimmage, it should still be something interesting to watch.
