Ok redbird, so now let's talk about some foosball, lol. How do you think your chances are against E-E this year?

Don't know. I think it is going to be a great game. At least I hope it is. It should be playoff type atmosphere and I think both teams will be ready to give it all they have. A lot depends on how the cards buy into the offensive philosophy of the new OC. The defense is going to be tough and I expect a hard fought defensive battle.

What would you say your teams strength is right now. Offense or defense?

I think if it had been held on Saturday everyone would've showed up. During the week is pretty hard. EE won't be here this SAt.

Yea...definitely the defense. It is going to be very, very good. Now the offense? Well, I am just hoping for better than the last couple of years. That OC should do very well with the athletes he has.

well red, when i saw harlingen play early on, some of the offensive play calls were a bit questionable......and the line, although they were good, still needed a lot of work...if those problems are fixed, the cards should be alright.

Really? I thought it was the other way around. Hmmm. How many starters each way do they have coming back?

That will be one hell of a game. EE vs. Harlingen. Lots of storylines - Nino vs. Murphy JB Gutierrez / Mingo Rincon vs. EE Offensive Line Joe Solis vs. Manny Gomez Huge Cardinal Offensive Line vs. EE Defensive Line Artie Tanguma vs. Cardinal Linebackers

For that game...they just might reach capacity. That would be weird for a preseason game.

Hey RB, how is the parking situation there? I saw Cards play against the Bears there last year and it was hard to find parking. Any pointers on where to park?

I would park in the new big school administration bldg. It is on the north side of the stadium. It is an old grocery store parking lot. It is big. You have to walk south along 77 Sunshine Strip but it isn't that bad of a walk. Your car will be safe there.
