Didn't Shak's dad get deployed to Iraq just recently? Hope Shak does well and hope his dad is safe (if he's who I think he is).

Alot of you don't know what you're saying but I won't get into specifics. Talked to his mom today - seems that Mishak has been working with the first team at wide receiver. Notice: We will be renting a charter bus for the August 30th game against Angelo State. It will cost $20.00 to get on the bus. We've got about 30 football players going up - we've got room for 27 more fans. We will be attending a tailgate party with live music once we get there. Anyone interested, send me a PM. According to that video it looked like Shak was at RB. i wouldnt listen to too much of what he says... |

just case anyone wants to know . . shak had a scrimmage yesterday. . had 80 yards on 8 carries. .1 td will start for sure on the 30th!!!!! Are you sure? Their first scrimmage is/was today, at 8:30 am. |

Observations from practice (8/14)...
* Texas State lacks any type of physical presence in the secondary. Morris Crosby inflicts the most fear out of the bunch. The running joke among practice regulars is the Bobcats have "1.5 good safeties."
* Head coach Brad Wright echoed the sentiments about his safeties when asked how soon he needed them to get better: "Yesterday would have been nice."
* Crosby has a new nickname, given to him by wide receiver Da'Marcus Griggs: "Shawn Kemp."
* Crosby fired back a name of his own that Griggs brushed off: "Kevin Garnett. He looks like KG."
* Quarterback Bradley George lacks urgency with his throws. While it may be practice, George left several of his receivers out to dry across the middle.
* George said he's been working on his accuracy, but has yet to show it on mid-range throws.
* E.J. LeBlanc and Mishak Rivas will each see considerable playing time in 4-WR sets.[/b]
