There was a news clip talking about the Bobcat WR's and the head coach said this,
"Bobcats head coach Brad Wright says, "We feel real good with our Wide Receiver positition with Cameron Luke back there after setting a school record this last year. We've got a couple of new pieces to the puzzle with a couple of guys who are 5'-6" about 106 pounds, but they can really run and they can make the ball go in different directions that we haven't had around here."
Who do you think he was talking about?

Texas State Bobcats 2008 scouting report By Bill Harrison
AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF

OFFENSE
Quarterbacks
Bradley George, hailing from New Braunfels Canyon by way of the Cincinnati Reds' minor-league pitching staff, enters his third season as the starting signal caller, but backup Clint Toon will definitely see playing time, Coach Brad Wright said. The 26-year-old George's 16 touchdowns, eight interceptions and 56.9 completion percentage in 2007 improved from his freshman season's tally (11 TD, 10 INT, 53.2 completion percentage). Wright lauds Toon (4 TD, 2 INT, 59.2 completion percentage in 2007) as a sound, coachable and more mobile quarterback. Redshirt freshman Alvaro Garcia is third on the depth chart.
Running backs
Last year's star trio of running backs— senior Stan Zwinngi, junior Alvin Canady from San Marcos and sophomore Karrington Bush — returns as one of the most talented stables in the Southland Conference. The three combined for 1,913 yards last season, averaging a robust 6.4 yards per carry. Bush — awarded the 2007 Southland Conference freshman of the year and all-SLC second team member — rushed for 1,039 yards on 137 carries, the eighth-best single-season rushing total in the team's history. None of the backs is taller than 5-foot-11 or weighs more than 192 pounds, but all run with power and are capable receivers out of the backfield. Bruising fullback Blake Burton, who was all-SLC in 2006, returns after an injury-marred 2007 season.
Receivers
The list starts with first-team all-SLC Cameron Luke, who set team records with 1,035 yards and 12 touchdowns and tied a team record with 60 receptions. A strong, physical player at 6-2, Luke is an excellent route runner with deceptive speed, great hands and a knack for saving broken plays. Adrian Thomasstarts as the other wideout, and Blinn College transfer E.J. LeBlancwill start in the slot. Two true freshmen, Mishak Rivas and Darius Bolden, bring much-needed speed and will also see playing time. John Gilley, the best blocker among the tight ends, earned a medical redshirt last season and returns.
Offensive line
Last season's three new starters — left tackle Alex Luna, center Jeff Bowen and right tackle Calvin Gore from Smithson Valley — struggled early but solidified as the season wore on, improving the running game and pass protection. With an offseason under their belts, offensive line coach Ben Norton said, "Those guys have a really good feel for our offense." One of two new starters at guard, Winston Ruelas, went down with a knee injury in fall camp and is expected to miss up to two games. His replacement at left guard, Michael Schneeweis, transferred from Fullerton College this summer. Redshirt freshman D.J. Hallwill start at right guard. Wright said the core linemen should include six to eight players.
DEFENSE
Defensive line
The starting lineup lost three of four starters. Only tackle Wellington DeShield returns, but the line is set with Ray Parkerat the other tackle spot and with Donovan King and Travis Houston at the ends. "They're pretty competitive for this level," defensive coordinator Fred Bleil said. "They're good players." The line is lighter and faster than in years past — the group averages 267.8 pounds with no one topping 300 pounds. Sam Pier, Adley Eshraghipour and Derrick Hoodback up the tackles, and former linebackers Freddy Paige and Brian Quackenbush are the backups at end.
Linebackers
This is the area in which depth most concerns Bleil, who said six players are in consideration for the starting lineup. However, Bleil said that Marcus Clark, an all-SLC honorable mention as a freshman last year, is the lone starter determined so far at rover linebacker, calling him "the most consistent player in camp". Last season, Clark led the defense with 71 tackles, including 40 unassisted and four interceptions. Players in contention for middle linebacker include Joe Bell and Patrick Strodtman, while Brian Iwujiand Courtney Smithare vying for starter at strongside linebacker.
Secondary
Starters have yet to be determined for this unit, as well, with the safety slots drawing more concern for Wright. Mike Rutledge and T.P. Miller of San Marcos both played last season and are in the mix at free safety. Brian Williams and Jamal Williams (no relation) are vying for time at strong safety. Bleil said the cornerback position is more set with three players — Morris Crosby, Will Thompsonand Iowa State transfer Drenard Williams— standing out. "We've got three good college corners," Bleil said. Crosby switched from slot receiver to corner in the offseason. Bleil also said Kenneth Hampton could see significant playing time.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Kickers
Gone is all-America punter Chris MacDonald, who led the nation with a 45.9-yards-per-punt average. Ryan Batchelor, who gained 30 pounds in the offseason, replaces MacDonald as the starting punter. Former Baylor transfer Andrew Irelandreturns for his third season at placekicker. Ireland was named all-SLC honorable mention in 2007 after making 10 of 15 field-goal attempts, including a career-long 52-yarder against Southeastern Louisiana.
Returners
Bobcats have experience in all of the return roles, withZwinngi (25.2 yard average)andBush(22.2 yard average) back handling kickoffs and Thompson (9.1-yard average) fielding punts
