i read an article in the callertimes.com site and it said that there's a 30% chance Dolly may become a cat 3. We shall see! I CERTAINLY HOPE NOT!!

Well, I slept through Allen in '80, so I'm not to concerened with this TS, or Cat 1.
Prepared...but not concerned.

yes, its currently moving west...a change from wnw...he demonstrated that the storm should move west, then upon making landfall move slightly north straight towards brownsville.

if the high pressure goes north, wouldn't the tail end of the pressure drift it west since it (high pressure) rotates clockwise?
