Well all the latest modules have it headed this way either just a lil south of us or lil north of us, either way we will get some wind and rain. Also predict it to be a cat 1 by this time tomm night.

so if the storm hits:
south of us we will be in the northern quadrant which means HEAVY rains.
north of us we will receive rain but not as much as if it were to hit us to the south....right?

Yep i think thats the way it goes, but it also depends if it strengthens and being that close to us either way we'll get alot of rain. News is about to come on.

News is about to come on. either way its not good, last time it rained hard, a tree fell on my dad's truck and thats because it was just a thunder storm, hope everything is fine afterwords for everybody. |

that's true...sometimes when we get severe weather, my dad and I joke that the storm was a whole heck of alot worse than the previous hurricanes that brushed the valley.

tim said its going a little lower than the valley. that means we get the hard winds.

I remember when one of the hurricanes hit to the south, i think it was erika, my cousin, a friend of mine and i went to the island. we ate at amberjacks...the weather channel people were filming at the time...it was like a day and a half before the system came in. We just wanted to check out the waves.
Hey redfish, i'd go if the house were already boarded up...i'd hate to leave my dad, alone, to do the job...LOL!

I don't foresee san antonio being affected tremendously...i guess the best bet would be to keep updated with the news/radio.. |

Yep i agree, unless maybe you live in a mobile home or near the island. Something like that, the only time i'd THINK about leaving is if its a cat 3 or higher and the eye is coming right toward us.

Well I am staying at a old house so yea that the reason we are thinking about it. I personaly want to stay and avoid leaving. I'll wait til 2moro to see what happens....

thing that sucks for me is that i need FOOD and i dont want to deal with mad house of people packing up cuz of a storm..........it took me like 20min to find water here in weslaco at watermill express
