So i don't get it, if harlingen plans to start murphy why did they put sanchez to go in there and compete in his place instead? And considering sanchez did pretty good i mean he made the elite 6, is there now going to be some kind of controversy for starting qb over in harlingen ..

Dylan ranked 1st out of 32 qbs from around the rgv. I'd definately consider that a pretty good indicator of the type of player he is capable of. |

I am not saying anything bout what the kid is capable of. he is obviously a very good QB, but this event isn't all what going into have a good passing team, there are many things that are not taken into account. |

I think it's a great indicator from a great QB (Garza).
One big thing about this was the panel of judges that helped Garza.

Gomez from Harlingen
Gantt from Harlingen
some others from staffs around the Valley.

I'm just saying this whole thing was judged by pros, they went into every detail to find out just how fast, strong, accurate the qb's were. And put it into detail for us. How do you recreate that whole thing? The thing with this competition is they did it NFL style. Sometimes you hit it and sometimes you don't. I will telll you this, De Leon and Vela were head and shoulders above the rest. |

Why not make a spreadsheet with all of the qb names on the left and the specific test on the top so we can see everything at once and for each participant.

I will telll you this, De Leon and Vela were head and shoulders above the rest. Even at the 7on7 level you can see the flaws in using this event as a measuring stick. If De Leon was head n shoulders about the rest, why is it that the weslaco 7on7 team can't even beat our 7on7 team? They have gotten 3 shots and have not come out with a win once. |
