they would just need someone to not fumble the snap and hand off or pitch the ball

they would just need someone to not fumble the snap and hand off or pitch the ball once again kyle has NO back-up so lets hope he doesnt get hurt. his back up on jv who is a starting cornerback went 2-6 17yds and -6 yds rushing (yes negative) so no pi doesnt have another qb

WHAT no backup??? That's crzay how could he not have a back up??? How 'bout the Freshmen QB, how did he do? Given his ankle injuries in BB, I would imagine coaches would try to have a good backup.

Well, to be honest back in '94 we didn't have a back up QB. Well we did, we had a few but we did not have a true #2, not one that stood out anyways.

i happen to know thAT THE JV QB is not a bust. tarpon 84, how would you even know his stats. they don't record them at freshman at freshman level and he was more like 8 for 11. he also has a good stature at i think 5- 11 or 6 foot 170. he is not as productive as the other qb they had (andrew infante) that guy could run you over and had killer speed. he ran a 4.73 as a freshman but got injured too much. the first QB i mentioned is good on defense though. he had 8 ints. this past year. i think he is gonna play defense on the varsity this year.

I agree. When PI goes D1, it will be an easier route . . . unless Cuero goes as well. If PI wins, I do not think that they will go up in rank much. Everyone I have seen is kind of iffy about CCWO. If RH keeps the game to 14 between Cuero, RH will still drop down alot . . . people claiming overrated and such. regardless what team it is, rankings shouldn't matter. it's about the will to win your team has no matter who you play and what there ranking is. PI was ranked #1 in 81 and they didn't win state. just saying rankings shouldn't matter

This kid Andrew Infante is he still playing? and to those who have seen his skills in playing time why do you think he kept injurying himself? Was it his style of play or just coincidence. Also can he be used as another weapon such as back, end, etc.? And will he be a sophmore or junior this coming season. And one more do you think once healthy he will be ok as a QB.

I was talkin about Matt Garza fruitcake You are obviously talking about Blake Sapp who is not even on the varsity roster as of now And Yes someone kept stats for the jv and no no one kept stats for the freshmen cuz they only have 4 good players at best and sapp is fighting for the starting qb job on jv i doubt he could withstand the varsity level at qb althoudh he is a good secondary player OIh yeah and I saw Infante play as u know i have and he wasnt very fast and he wasnt very strong ala the injuries and he couldnt run over an ant

Thanks F-G.
Well, it looks like the PI v EE game will be the only one I’ll be able to make this year. I was hoping RH would play Cuero on a Sat. or at least not on the first weekend of the month.
But hey that makes Nov. 7 the last week of the regular season? Meaning that the prestige of playing “turkey ball” goes back to what it used to be. You gotta make the third round if you want to play “turkey ball” boys. Not like the last couple of years where only the second round we were playing on Thanksgiving week. Kinda took away some of that prestige. Hopefully this year RH has a break out season and learns what it really means to play “turkey ball”

Dang! I gotta say that the scrimmages and preseason games in store for PI and RH tells me that both schools really want to achieve higher goals in preparation of the regular(district) season and beyond. Good Luck guy's and make the smaller schools proud: 4A, 3A, 2A, etc.
