I was talkin about Matt Garza fruitcake You are obviously talking about Blake Sapp who is not even on the varsity roster as of now And Yes someone kept stats for the jv and no no one kept stats for the freshmen cuz they only have 4 good players at best and sapp is fighting for the starting qb job on jv i doubt he could withstand the varsity level at qb althoudh he is a good secondary player OIh yeah and I saw Infante play as u know i have and he wasnt very fast and he wasnt very strong ala the injuries and he couldnt run over an ant Andrew infante not fast? he ran a 4.73 and that was in february. he went through track season and was keeping up with nolan only behind a few steps. his 400m time is good enough to make it to state next year. yeah, he is fast. and can you tell us these "only 4 good players you speak of" on the tarpon jv Things are getting confusing here. Lets see if you guys can clear this for me so not to get too confused. When we talk of freshmen we are talking about last years freshmen? Or are we talking of this coming seasons freshmen? I would apply the same questions to JV. So when Tarpon 84 mentioned of few players that are good as freshmen are those upcoming JV 2008 right? Because we all know that the upcoming last years JV there are a good number of good players. So Tarpon 84 you are saying that last years freshmen to be this years JV don't have many good players. And Infante is a fast player according to Weezer, but he is no longer in football so it does not mean much to football other than he is fast. So is he really that fast? And will he be playing football this coming season (2008)? To be keeping up with Nolan is pretty good.

i highly doubt he was even close to keepin up with nolan most people don't know this but if nolan wouldnt of gotten hurt during track he would of stood a good chance at going to state in the 100

I was surprised he did not go to state. I did not know he was injured during track.

yes as most wanted said infante was not fast and he runs a 5.0 at best and i know most wanted can confirm.
Yes TF73 i am talking about last year's freshmen who will be sophomores on jv.
Weezer the 4 good players imo are S Blake Sapp, RB CJ Barrera, DT Jonathan Delgado, and C Ed Ybarra

i dont know but them boys in blue are gonna be bad, most of them hogs up front benching 300 plus, and good ol coach Martinez taking them boys out to the beach to work out. thats good stuff right there. Oh boy! and i heard that boy Diego is pushing up 300lbs also in bench, all i know is that my boys are looking for a deep playoff run. GO Blue! some hate some appreciate. Which one are you?

Wait....is Laguna Atascosa in Between PI and RH?? I mean like the outer limits??
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong??

Yeah somewhere in between sums it right taking the back roads to RH towards the Border Patrol retaining station. We used to play little league ball right by that station and close to Laguna Atascosa Refuge. Those were my fun clildhood days. Are there still baseball fields there? Well anyhow. The Atascosa Bowl? HMMMMMMMM. We talked about this last year. What would this game be called? Atascosa Rights Bowl. Whats the name of the farm road that goes to Rh/PI? I guess none connect all the way.
As far as the outer limits (Twilight Zone) this could be that type of game. J/K.

I was thinking of that as well The CATFISH Bowl. I am sure there will be many other ideas to what this can turn out to be.

Looking in the 3A Downlow RH has been ranked by the members as good as 11th in state. Of course those are just opinions, but it is good to see people up north who are more familiar with the other top ranked teams from their regions put RH up there. If all this specualtion holds true PI should be in those top 25, but I love the surprise element. I feel PI will surprise starting this year. Hope my intuition is right.

I like the CATFISH BOWL....any other takers??? Let's make this the first annual CATFISH BOWL!
As far as, RH being up there in the state...I believe we have the talent at that level, but there is still room for improvement. I also, strongly believe PI is up there, but also needs much needed improvement. Both teams are right there knocking at deep playoff runs....each team just needs to focus and bust the dagum door open.
Cuero and Palacios have exploited my 'Cats the past two years, mainly...in playing good fundamentally sound football.
Cuero and Palacios didn't do anything special except execute very well against my 'Cats...from what I've seen on film.
When RH plays against their non-district schedule...I highly recommend taking each game one play at a time. Watch film carefully, and beat them at their own game.
BALL-CONTROL will be key in each game.
