I doubt it and I hope it's not true, but it's always a possibility. His mom does work for the school district. So if she is a teacher, & if she goes else where her kids can go to school where ever she teaches. (i.e. Springer boys) However, I don't know for a fact that she's a teacher, just that she works for PI ISD.
If you think about it wouldn't be a bad thing for him, being on a 5A program, especially because of the offense Ford runs over there, it would be a good fit for him. He could get better exposure and a better chance of getting to play college ball. He is a prototype QB. BUT AGAIN I JUST WANT TO SAY I HOPE IT'S JUST A RUMOR

I just had a thought and well was wondering if anyone else had even considered this.
Is RH a good team? Yes. Are they the hot commodity in 3A today? Yes. But are they really as good as advertised? I don’t think so.
I have previously said on here that RH has benefited from several scenarios that have played out this past decade. Now, please do not get me wrong, I too think that RH has improved leaps and bounds from where they were when I played. But they were beneficiaries of the split in 32-3A, and the increase from two playoff teams to three. Today we have another reason why I think that RH has shot up the ranks in 3A so quickly. This year RH has been ranked in the state top 25. While a great feat, is it really what it once was? After this years realignment came out, Class 3A was one of the most affected classifications in the state. You see, back in the day when PI was ranked top 25; top 10 or even our #1 ranking, there were up ends of as many as 280 class 3A schools in the state of Texas. Today, class 3A has the fewest number of schools since the state was broken down to 1-5A classifications with only 180 schools. Just take that into consideration, this year there will be two Class 3A champions. That is a ratio of 1 in 90. When we made our historic playoff run in ’94 we were one of four schools left of 255. And only one team won the state title that year. (a ratio of 1 in 255)
So I ask again, is RH really all they are built up to be? In my humble opinion, No, they are not.
At least not yet.

IMO I think valley football in general is finally learning how to play better football. It's seemed for a while, that PI was in a league of there own, in the entire RGV. However, like I mentioned many RGV teams are starting to catchup and becoming football communities too. But that's just my

themostwanted,
I hope that is not so. There was a lot of chemistry and playing time with Kyle and the JV of last season players that this would make a big effect on the team unless some other QB we don't know of comes up.
On the backfield comment: I know where you are coming from in reference to the upcoming players. But I still feel that is not to be the case this coming year. In 2006 I saw Diego play more and actually do better than he did in 2007. Nolan was just becoming a force in 2006, but there was the sound element of Ralph which started gemming since the West Oso Game which was the third game of the season in 2006. Last year Diego did not contribute as much due to playing time and the lack of the power back experience that was Ralph. Much was on Nolan. Nolan was injured on and off during last year, and Rollie came in as the inexperienced but somewhat effective new look in the backfield. Nolans inconsistencies due to the on and off injuries affected the outcome of several games. Alot was on his shoulders. In 2006 the burden was more balanced to Diego, Nolan, and Ralph. I feel that this will be the case this coming year. And I am not discrediting Nolan's contributions it was there and he was an exceptional player. Alot will depend on how players the upcoming ones will be utiliized. I see Green as a very sound, tough, and fast for a power runner. I see Mendoza as another power, but quick back. And there is Joe Vega with his skills as well. This players are also bigger than usual and seem effective. Of course we will have to wait and see. But I feel good about this backfields depth.

There are many college and nfl players that came from small towns. PI has an open campus, so even if he did move he can make the small trip over here for school, even if Monty has to drive him over here

Thanks for clearing that up T84 That sounds better. But it does bring up a point. who would be the back up QB in the case Kyle cannot play. Either now and or during the season? Does anyone have any idea on upcoming QBs and their assessment as to talent etc.

Does anyone have any idea on upcoming QBs and their assessment as to talent etc. kyle has NO back-up so lets hope he doesnt get hurt. his back up on jv who is a starting cornerback went 2-6 17yds and -6 yds rushing so no pi doesnt have another qb
