Not yet, Not Yet. But thats PI goal as of late.... RHs goal is to pass round 2. Probrecitos Riiiight . . . when PI can't get past round 2 either . . . as of late. Take note that PI has it's up and downs, though some 32-3A schools would take PI down years as theirs anytime!... For example, as of late PIs Avg/Above Avg Tarpon Teams (record-wise) have gone as far in the playoffs as have the best teams Rio Hondo has ever put on the field! For ex., 2007 PIs 7-4 team reach the 2nd round just like a 11-1 RH team. 2006 RH again gets 10 wins, yet PI manages the same 2nd round. Shoot the 2005 5-7 PI team went just as far as a 9-2 RH team. 2004 well that's not really 'as of late'... that and a 4-5 RH missed the playoffs that year hmm missed the playoffs in 2003 and 2002 too? interesting.

Well NFCFan and Lemon,
It's a true and not so true statement. La Feria held PI to 7 points up until the 4th qtr last season....and held RH to 21 pts.
Their D was solid but they were inconsistent at times, which is why they stayed home.
PI was already pooping bricks....after LF went up 20-7 late in the third qtr.
RH played poorly to say the least on offense, but LF still was able to hold my 'Cats to 21 points....the lowest output the whole season.
So, I would be very WARY of LF to unseat my 'Cats or the Tarps for the DC title.

I would be wary of LF too, they have alot of confidence on that D, but most importantly, they DO have some very good athletes on the defense. LFs motto is to put there best players on D, even if it means a couple of players going both ways.

Those Fireworks were in celebration of Rio Hondo's upcoming 5th playoff win since 1949 And Your Welcomed! On a side note, All-time playoff wins: Ray + RH + Lyford + Zap + Hid + Pro + LaF = 29 Port Isabel = 39 And still no state champion trophy pobrecitos Lemon what do you consider “as of late”? Is it last season, 2 seasons, 3 seasons ago? Surely you do not mean 4 seasons ago, cause in 04 PI was in the 3rd round, or are you only talking about the last three seasons? I bet you are only talking about the last three seasons, but again it is funny how you continue to have a short memory. I guess that comes from not being able to hold onto the DC for more than one season. And yes you are right about PI not having that state championship trophy. Only hole in that argument is that neither does RH, that is like saying “Ha, you haven’t even had sex with that girl (you know the one that everyone is after)” the only difference is that we have gotten hot and heavy with her, while you have not even gathered enough courage to ask her out. Like I said we may not have that state championship trophy, but neither do your ‘Cats. And there is one trophy, well three actually, that PI has that RH does not, and that is the one with the inscription “Class 3A Region IV Champions”. Outside of the PI trophy case(s) have you even seen a Region IV Football Championship Trophy? Oh but that is right you have a short memory and refuse to remember anything before 2005. (which just happens to be the best showing RH has ever had – and yet only went two rounds deep)

But he basically said they could stop any rgv team which is 30+ teams, whoa! some bold statement from a team that missed the playoffs last year. On a side note, I'd wouldn't say PI was 'poopin bricks'! like you say, lol With an explosive player like Nolan it was just a matter of time!
PI 26, LaF 20 Oh why are we still posting in here!?
