E-E has won their first 2 games against Flour Bluff and Cal. In their third game they were ahead 6-0. I don't know who else is up their those were the only game I know of.

how do they pick the 2 teams that will qualify for the state tourney if previous qualifiers (like EE) win the tourney?

how do they pick the 2 teams that will qualify for the state tourney if previous qualifiers (like EE) win the tourney? If this is a SQT like the one in Mission. E-E can't advance past the pool play. If E-E wins there pool the one that come in second will advance. Last week Weslaco won their pool play but Mercedes advanced.

Anybody knows what valley teams beside EE is there. Mission Veterans is also in this tourament. IF i can remember clearly E-E will get to advance because this is not a SQT.

Anybody knows what valley teams beside EE is there. Mission Veterans is also in this tourament. IF i can remember clearly E-E will get to advance because this is not a SQT. Good Luck to Veterans.

Alice, E-E, Laredo Lbj, Mission Veterans, Caleallen, GP, RockPort, Beeville, Flour Buff, Robstown, Kingsville, Ray, King, Moody and Laredo United. 7-on-7 tourney Saturday 16 teams to participate By Pete Garcia Alice Echo-News Journal Published: Thursday, June 19, 2008 6:05 PM CDT The practice field at Alice High School will be busy Saturday.
Alice is hosting its first Coyote Air It Out 7-On-7 Tournament Saturday at the school’s practice field. The 16-team tournament includes a who’s who of South Texas high school football programs including Edcouch-Elsa, which knocked Alice out of the postseason, and a handful of teams from District 31-4A.
The programs scheduled to participate include Alice, Edcouch-Elsa, Laredo LBJ, Mission Veteran’s Memorial, Calallen, G-P, Rockport-Fulton, Beeville, Flour Bluff, Robstown, Kingsville, Ray, King, Moody and Laredo United. The competition begins at 9 a.m. Saturday with pool play. Actual tournament play begins at 2 p.m. Each team is guaranteed three pool-play games and then three tournament games.
The event will also have a lineman challenge after the 7-on-7 tournament. The challenge will pit teams of linemen from each of the schools competing in strength and agility competitions.

Just got some info E-E beat Gp 49-7. In the final E-E beat Beeville didn't get the final score. E-E take another tournament.

Grat job EE! I thought Beeville would do much better considering Sosa (qb) and company.

Man, talk about setting the bar high. Winning all of these tournaments means they will be expected to produce some results @ the State tournament!
