why not have an hour a day where everyone turns off everything and doesn't drive or anything like that. i wonder what that would do.

isn't that what they did back in the 70's. you could only get gas on cetain days depending on your license plate number or something like that

Easy solution guys. I have not gassed up my car since the end of May, and still have 1/2 a tank.
My solution...
Drive the wife's car!!!
Seriously...I've been driving wifey's car...that SHE is in charge of gassing up...hahahaha!!!

chuckster, that works unless the wifey is a money hungry pos who takes your money from you and doesn't tell you about it until you're at the restaurant and you are coming up short on the bill because you thought you had 100 bux when all you really have is 20.................
lol, jk. manimal, i started slowing down for awhile, and it did help, but i'm big so the only time i have a chance to go fast is on the expressway. needless to say, anything below 80 and road rage is kicking in. lol

my ranger gives me about 350 per tank on a 17 gallon tank...takes about $70 to fill up...havent checkd the Escalade...but its about $100 to fill up...never checked the milage on it....the Lightning when it comes out only uses premium...but thatll be a weekend cruiser....thinking on investing on a Nissan Maxima or Altima....i was looking into a Caddy Deville but cant find what im looking for....maybe in another half year or so.....
i always drive slow though....just my prefrence...i love to cruise check out the scenary....
