About as safe as any other city in the rgv or anywhere lmka, unfortunately these things can happen anywhere and we hear about them daily in the news. But it is out of the ordinary here in wes, first the teacher then they find a dead teenager outside of a restaurant outside of wes on mile 12. Though the weslaco pd have some leads in that case. And they have id'd the guy who stabbed the teacher and are looking for him. Theres also another killer on the loose from the alamo area who murdered his wife and fled. Probably in mexico by now.

We were passing by that location yesterday. We thought it was a raid on a house.

I don't have any stats, but I would think that the city w/ the highest murder rate in the valley would be the one with the most drug trafficing.

The Southmost area is not that bad if you're familiar with it and the people around it. If you're not then there's a problem.

I imagine it's like that in any barrio... if you aren't from around those parts, you could be in for some problems.
