The possiblility exists no doubt. Given that the Jackets have been playing on another level within the district. Ya, they've had some close calls, but you can look at it both ways. Teams have had their chance and E-E has come on top. I don't see E-E losing this year either so like I said, the possibility exists.

Yeah, the best chance for the streak to be broken this year has to be against Mercy. I think Mercy is on the verge of a great season. EE will be challenged immensely by Mercy. I just see an upset here, or maybe just kinda wanting an upset. Not to mention Mercy was the last team, still in the district EE lost to. (EE's last loss was to Harl. S. in the last game of the 2002 season. - two weeks earlier they lost to Mercy) However, in order to break this record we have to see EE through the 2009 season. Do you think EE has what it takes after this season and the begining of 2010. Also, there has to be some kind of tribute to that Tarpon winning streak. Lopez also beat E-E in 02'  It seemed that everyone was beating EE that year. That year was coach Sendejar was at the helm at EE. As a matter of fact during his tenure EE didn't do too well; district 12/8 and season was 17/13. Also it was the first time in a while that they missed the playoffs. |

Last year EE was a relatively young, inexperienced team and Mercedes still couldn't beat them. This year EE will much much stronger. On the other hand, with all due respect to the Tigers, but I don't see much a difference in talent between their team from last year and this year. Mercedes played without their starting QB in that game, so don't read too much into it. Should be a good game is all I have to say about it. |

Yes Los Fresnos was the 2002 32-4A champion, going undefeated in the district.

DO YOU THINK E-E CAN BREAK PI’S DISTRICT WINNING STREAK? I’m not sure if I can make it any clearer. My 3 yr old understood it. Geeez. I guess the 7 district games this year will be EE’s last ever huh? And next season since they only have 7 district games, that would make it 46 as well and tie the record. Think about that, having to wait a whole year to have a chance to break the tie. Imagine that. Its possible. but i ain't saying that they are cause i dint want to give them bad luck. but i wish them luck. |
