any news on the cardinal pratices, or site of PI scrimmage, i real do think its at boggus, they been cleaning the stadium as if theirs going to be a game. Pratices have been looking great! The offense is really coming along, the only issue that I have is the play of the O-Line. Other than that the Defense is looking great. I think this Harlingen team is going to have great overall speed. |

They should be a tough test and a good one to start with. I can't wait till saturday. Now I just have to figure out where it is going to be held. I think they keep changing it.

Actually I think the real loser would be you and how you made 7 on 7 more than what it was. I'm sorry to say that our kids mentalities were far more greater than EE's or at least yours. Isn't football supposed to be fun? Okay... go have your fun. Heck, next time replace the football with a frisbee, I betcha that would be even more fun. |

Ninja is wrong and he just won't back down. See if you can follow... It's VERY easy as a fan to cling to the sports you are good at and detached those that you are not. I betcha Brown Lobos have more fans/support in Baseball than football. I betcha Mission High has more fans/support in Track then football. Why? Because those schools excel in that sport. Likewise, it's very easy for you to say 7 on 7 is meaningless because Harlingen was subpar. Had they done better, you wouldn't be saying things like they were doing it for fun, or practice. On the contrary, you would say they were doing it to WIN. Because let's face it, I don't know very many competitive sports where teams don't particpate with the intention of winning. |

The thing with me is why do it if you are going to be using formations that you will never use in football? Why? If you are using things that you will use and still winning then that is perfectly fine. That is outstanding actually. But to critisize a team because they choose to work on things that they want to and not practice things that won't help them during the season but will during 7 on 7 is just crazy.
I would be puzzled if Harlingen was in 7 on 7 and running crazy a** formations that would never help them. That is just a total waste of time. If they were the best 7 on 7 team in the valley (no need to worry about that happening... ;D) and just ran stupid stuff I would be pissed. They should be working on things that will help them during the season. Are those formations that these 7 on 7 teams will never use going to help them during the season?? No. So why do it? Why not do something more constructive to helping you to excel during the season? That is all I am asking about. Nothing else.

i say you guys end this already...this is starting to look like WP "arguing", if that's what you wanna call it, with E-E, Mercedes, and just bout anybody else that doesn't think the panthers are going to be the best team in the valley.

why are we bringing up 7on7? LOL well i guess its over for the cardinals, lost to Porter in the superbowl of 7on7 in EE and EE lost to Mission Vets in the final so that means Vets will be the 'new' District 32-4A champs?...i agree with redbird never understood 7on7 its seems more like a backyard game of football....cant some players get hurt playing 7on7?
