Albert was good, but not Pepper calibur. I can say though, Albert went crazy as a punter that year (1985). I remember he had some monster punts against the wind during our 85 district run.

I do recall that he pitched a playoff game as a Freshman! He would have been a huge help to the statefinalist team our Jr year if he had not..........aw jeez, there's no way to put this mildly.... if he had passed all his classes. Our Sr year, he did play and played a major roll in getting us to the playoffs.
