Dylan is a pretty good athlete then. The Defense will be keying in on him. Expect more pressure from the defenses now that Mishak is gone. The RBs will have some big shoes to fill if not the pressure will all fall on Dylan then.

if they ignore our running backs in order to get to dylan they're gonna find themselves trying to chase the RB's down from behind because they're gonna be gone.

like mercedes defense would be able to do anything about it anyway.

That Mercedes Defense was pretty weak last year. I saw them a few times and I have to agree that the defense needs to tighten up, especially in your opener against Calhoun. Shut down Archangel and then we can say your D is gonna help you all!!
On O, Mercedes should be OK.

De Leon's fastest 40 time has been 4.52. A couple of different camps and showcases have clocked him that fast.
At the Oklahoma State showcase held in Belton a couple of weeks ago, he clocked a 4.59. He was timed by Mike Gundy's staff.

rpm is correct about the line, but not so correct about the backs. maybe they won't get that much attention early in the season, but people will know who they are by the time district rolls around.

Fastest team in the RGV will be Sharyland or Mc Hi. Aaron Correa is pretty fast along with Scottie Meyer from Shary.

The Tarpons should have some decent speed and great speed on a couple of players. But overall team football speed will be good.

Is speed going to help anyone get to the big dance?

Weslaco will be okay but that fake to Mishak and then a long pass to a WR will not be there this year as much......
everybody bit on the fake because it was MISHAKKKKKKKKK, which left a wide open receiver in many cases, Weslaco will have to have a true passing game this year in order to have the same level of success as last year, the Slot T will still provide Weslaco with some good offense because of a solid line, but everything Weslaco did last year was based on Mishak and his explosiveness and this year most teams can play Weslaco straight up until proven otherwise......

You sure do have alot of interest in weslaco don't yah valleysports .. Must of attended alot of wes games too. Hmm. Anyway you are correct to a certain extent, there will be certain things we will have to do diff with the absence of shak. But a fake is a fake though when were running running running and then we fake it opposing defenses will more then likely bite on it. Shak or no shak. But you'll be surprised how thicker the playbook has gotten, tony v knows where his skill players are and is looking for diff ways to get them the ball.
