I hear some really good things about their overall speed, especially on the defensive side

I hear these teams are loaded on the speed department:
Mchigh to me were the fastest I saw last season. Weslaco=Been told their sophopomore class is stacked with speedsters. Sharyland=I hear their RBs and WR are super fast. Harlingen=Always has fast players. Veterans Memorial=Have lost their fastest players, but have some speedsters also returning Los Fresonos=Their backup who ran the 2point conversion and RB are said to be quick ones. Raymondville=Great athletes and Alejo is said to be a senior this year. Mission=Most of their speedsters are now gonna be starters, and they're fast ones, trust me.

very correct about weslaco eagle prophet, but don't count out the jv team. they might not have done so well this past year, but they got very good speed.

Mercedes has Trevino, but then is there anyone else in that team with wheeLs? The other RB looked good last year, too. But don't know if he's the same one coming back for 08.

Not really eagle. Trevino is the speed. Think weslaco will always have speed, you know that by how they consistently fare well during track season and they are mostly all football players. Upcoming sophmores will continue that. Dylan for a qb has got some wheels.

Yeah, what does DeLeon clock in the 40. Last year's Dave Cambell football magazine had him at 4.4. Is he really that fast?

I agree buzz, but it is true dylan has some wheels and the mag said 4.5 prophet. And i believe thats right, if you have seen him out there on the track you'd know how fast he is. He ran a leg on the mile relay a few times.

I'm not trying to rip on Dylan, I'm ripping on DC magazine. In all reality, I should be ripping on the coaches, b/c they are the ones that submit the information to the magazine. It's just plain silly. For example, (once again, read my first sentence) Dylan was timed @ a 4.82 in the Elite QB competition. The mag says 4.5... that's a 3/10 of a second difference... it's just too big of a difference.

I can understand maybe 1/10ths of a second, mmmmaaaayyybbbbbeee 2/10ths of second. But not any more than that. A 1/10ths difference could be b/c of the surface he ran on or the types of shoes. A 2/10ths could be his current physical or mental condition, even the elements. (or bad tacos for lunch).

4.82?? lol. Hell no, some lineman run faster then that. I read that in the other thread when morris posted it but theres no way that is correct. I was waiting for him to edit it or something.

Man, 4.5 seems a little too fast. But, I guess i'll have to take your word on this one.
