It was discussed ad nauseum in some other thread.
New webmaster comes in and announces the change on the boards without discussing it with chuck, rpm, manimal, football gal, or the other mods. Many tried logging on and it sucked from the get go.
Apparently, The Herald or freedom papers decided they needed more control or ad revenue and thus, the other new board was created. Many of us logged on there in a futile attempt to keep it going despite being horribly pissed off about the whole change.
That one blows and the rest of us decided at chuck's behest to populate these boards.
And that my friends, is the new boards history in five minutes or less.

basically they want you to use their boards because then they can legally use your inside information without your consent
