i bet they must be kicking thier asses right now about the whole debacle that has come out of changing the forum... i wonder if some idiot(webmaster) is going to get fired ... in the corprate worl he would have been... dumb idiots,,,, thats why i dont read the local papers.,..
Goies to show you with idiots like the ones running the sports sections in the valley they go on a ruin something good that they had going on for more control,
AND WE WONDER WHY THE HECK THE FOOTBALL POLES ARE SO MESSED UP..... ppl (idiots)like them are making them....

It was discussed ad nauseum in some other thread. New webmaster comes in and announces the change on the boards without discussing it with chuck, rpm, manimal, football gal, or the other mods. Many tried logging on and it sucked from the get go. Apparently, The Herald or freedom papers decided they needed more control or ad revenue and thus, the other new board was created. Many of us logged on there in a futile attempt to keep it going despite being horribly pissed off about the whole change. That one blows and the rest of us decided at chuck's behest to populate these boards. And that my friends, is the new boards history in five minutes or less. Very insightful explanation ...thanks.I'm glad I decided to wait for the dust to settle and subscribe to this forum...the other one just plain SUCKS. |

People (even us) will go visit that site and eventually start commenting on their stories and posting in their forums again. Its only a matter of time... By then, they will have probably developed a new fan base of loyal supporters.. Who knows, it may take another 7 years, but it'll get done. |

the only people that are going to go over there are the one's that don't know about this forum. as soon as the word gets out, this one will be 10x what the old forum was, and that's saying a lot.

Currently, this forum is absolutely pummeling RGVSports.com in that it's "User-Friendly" access in speed and convenience is far more advanced than anything they have. I really don't see RGVSports.com ever catching up to this forum.
