Thats right it was the raiders. Yeah no doubt, should be interesting to see how he does with that north program. I haven't heard from any raider fans as too how spring ball went or whats going on over there in the offseason.

barracuda you must be smoking on some good stuff over there. they're good coaches. not tops in the valley at all, not even close.

Joe Menchaca, milo garcia . those two make up the top coaches in the RGV. Who are they and where do they coach? They were asst. at E-E last year. Menchaca is at Edinburgh and I don't know where Milo went. Menchaca is a good QB coach and Milo is a good players coach. He is like by the players.

He is like by the players. these two coaches are well known in the valley. they spearhead the "self-promotion" program.. plus, when one of them didn't get the job he wanted at lincoln-juarez, he went on to bash the head coach here on rgvsports. goes to show that these two guys are leaders of the pack, their own pack.

milo used to coach here in weslaco. 02 i believe was his last year here. he's a good coach, but honestly nowhere near the top. menchaca? please...........

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Mario Pena. Does anybody consider him one of the top coaches in the valley. Maybe they have him in the top 10 and not the top 5.

if i was thinking defensive coordinators, i'd say mario pena. he's not even in my top 15 of great valley head coaches.
