I know Coach Casas, and one thing for sure is he'll always be a disciplined coach.

I was suprised that Dave Evans didnt get more respect right off the bat but then I think of his Playoff record. Sure he took the skins to seven straight play off games but four of those trips where of the one and done variety.
I truly wonder if Stumps legacy might've changed a little had he gotten the Donna job three years ago and sputter like tom chavez did. Would we hold his feet to the he-cant-produce-at the 5-A fire?
I dont think Scott Ford's name belongs in this discussion yet. Sure he has a near flawless regular season record but shouldnt we set some sort of criteria? Only coaches that have been at it for more than five years?

That is an interesting question Laces. I think by your "more than 5 year criteria," Bruce Bush and Allen Cherry would win that unless you change the criteria. I could be wrong.

I know Coach Casas, and one thing for sure is he'll always be a disciplined coach. What is he and coach Pete Vela, those were or are very good Coaches. What I liked about Casas that he doesn't let the star players get distracted by all the media hype. He's idea of a team is no individual standout will get the credit. It's a team effort whether you win or lose.

i think a coach who is commited to a program and WINS should always be up there thats why Harris is top 5
