Where's smokey joes in Harlingen??? Right across the street from Boggus stadium. It's at the crosswalk entrance/exit. He played QB for the Vikings in the 80's...played some college ball too.

tierra santa's burger is good, but salazar's burger is really good. las palmas in weslaco is just like berta's in that it only stays open for the lunch hours. i haven't been there in awhile but until salazar's opened up that was the best burger i had ever had.

Tierra Santa's are pretty good, but they're not homemade. They're the frozen ones I believe. Salazar's are very tasty, by the way.

the burgers at monterrey cafe USED to be very good. then they fired the cook who had been there for a long time and the quality of the food went way down. it used to be you could go there and order just about anything and not be disappointed, now the chicken, the burgers, the tacos, just aren't what they used to be, but they're still better than mcdonalds

the burgers at new york deli are good and huge. just dont ask for double meat unless you're ready to feel like you just ate half a cow

I didn't know they served burgers there.I just had it assumed as a 24/7 Mexican Restraunt.Next time I visit,I should ask for that.
