ok everyone. you can name a fast food place, but we all know they don't make the best burgers. what i'm looking for are places in your town or places you've eaten that have very good burgers.

my choice is actually choices. it's a tie between salazar's and las palmas restaurant in weslaco. both these places have excellent burgers.

Chili Willies in Arroyo city is by far the best burgers.

Nick's Cafe in Edcouch was AWESOME. Of course, it's been closed for several years.
The next best burger joint in the Delta area would have to LeeRoy's (former the Frijoles Romanticos burger joint).

there was a place out towards brownsville that used to sell mini-burgers that were insanely good. my dad took me there but he can't remember where exactly it is. anyone out there know what place i'm talking about?

Fenix Cafe in Mercedes makes some good burgers.

Although,I've never been to Berta's;it's had a good buzz according to people on this forum.I remember someone posted an image of their burgers and it sure appeared tastey to eat.

Nicks cafe had the famous roach burgers. but when they closed, i know there was a little burger stand in La Villa that made some just like Nick's. right now, i would have to vote for the cafe inside Lee's Pharmacy on 10th st mcallen. they'll make your burger at request, even with fried egg, baconl, or ham inside. |
