And this is probably the reason they would NEVER allow for an city-championship game.
The tension it would create? How do things go over at the 7on7 games?

one of the reasons.....it gets pretty bad at the 7on7 games......the other day the east coaches were talking smack to my players....grown men talking smack to a bunch of kids....ridiculous

it might be a stepping stone if we played them in the same district buzzy, but we don't.....they should be concentrating on you guys and mercedes, not us.....

Were there no parents around? at the time that it happened there was nobody there....but a lot of people around there told me about how everyone could hear them, even the other players on the field.....if they wanted more respect they took a step backward with that.... |

i had people coming up to me after the games and saying, "now i know what you mean about those guys, they're jerks (not the word that was used, but it's close)"

there'd probably be a shooting every year.....no matter who won.... That where you all have to draw the line and be good sports about it. You all act like kids sometimes and it makes the RGV look bad. Anyway it would be fun watching a high-intesity game like Weslaco V. East! Hope it gets done in the future... |

neither coach is hiding i don't think.....i think the one's who are keeping this game from happening is the board and super...it would be a good game and will probably happen in a few years.....
oh and lobo.....they started it.....

oh i know it would......after the first year or two it'd probably be the game of the week in the whole state.....either that or it'd be the game with the highest attendance by police in the entire state.....
