i see him every wednesday at the 7on7 games and i always stay until there is nobody left in the parking lot......none of those guys ever tell me anything....i'm even out there talking smack and nothing......

east's defense should've been a lot better than it was last year....they should've been shutout kings.....that's seriously how good the talent is over there....guzman doesn't belong there....he's better than robledo who was there some time back, but he's still not what those kids deserve..... Oh... I just ask b/c I know he is a product of E-E. |

is he really buzzy? seems like he should take some of that old EE philosophy to east... Let me rephrase that, he graduated from E-E. He coached @ EE in the lower levels for a couple years then left. |

I heard some years back that he was trying to make his way back to EE. Despite what people might think about the school and city, coaching varstiy football @ EE is a highly desirable job. I've heard of a good number of people that wish they could coach here or wish they had not left.

there's a good talent pool there and a lot of support for the school.....those are also the reasons why a lot of coaches have wanted to come to weslaco....

Yeah, maybe I should rephrase that... head coaches might not be as interested in EE, but there are a lot of position coaches that are.

they are just convincing them that the only way to have success is to be better than weslaco high......notice how the first people those coaches tried to bash was the weslaco high power lifting team? it's ridiculous over there......i've already told the story about the track coach yelling at his kid "there's purple up there, go get it" when the only person in purple was a panther runner and he was in 7th place....

i say if they want to be separate from weslaco high they should stop thinking about them so much because as long as the east folks mention weslaco high when they're talking about the wildcats (you know, in comparison) people are always going to think of weslaco east as "the other school in weslaco"
