Ok A-Rod I understand....but only come playoff time because he does put up some crazy numbers in the regular season. Zito should be #1 though. Jeter is better than most SS in the league and is Mr.Clutch. Plays fundamental baseball and never talks smack.

Derek Jeter for sure, is way overrated! Deion being a 2 sport athlete wasn't all that in baseball, but at least he gave it a go. I haven't heard of someone being a 2 sport athlete in a long time (baseball & football). Bo Jackson being the other that also played baseball & football. What sucks, is the injury he sustained that messed up his career. What could have been?

he's overrated being overrated doesn't mean you're not good, it just means that you're not as good as advertised.

I think the only times he's ever played "Big" is when it matters most, the playoffs & championship wins he's been apart of. Other than that, I think he's still overrated though.

But yea Jeter is an all-star player throughout the season. He does more than what comes out on the box. Great leader and holds the team together. I think he's NOT overrated at all.
