So E-E thinks they own the color black Jacket Black yes we do. Mercedes is trying to see if Black will do for them what it has done for La Maquina. But just like a Turkey if it would paint its head White and its Tails feathers white also won't make it a Bald Eagle. |

Mercedes has always had a strong following.......win or lose   I found this article about the Mercedes fan base.....   So is this article back before your so called dry spell. |

This is a dumb thread. Plain and simple, win and fans show up. Lose and support is minimized substantially no matter what city you're from. MOST 5A schools will have bigger crowds. Why? More students, parents, family, former players........... I go to every Mercy game possible and never leave till the clock hits zero in the 4th, but I for one can not say we have best fans in the world. Just like all fans from EVERY city, Win the games and the seats will fill relative to the population in the city or district. +1 |

Mercedes is not a fan supportint team that one could say wow's you ... they have thier ppl but it seem that those are the die hard ones,.... and attend every friday every year... l;ike Wp said you guys did not sell out two years ago at that game and you guys were playing at hiome... PI...LF...Har...EE and thats about it .... others are just trying to catch up... or fill the stands lto see one of these teams play agaisnst thier own... LF i must say are die hard.... we have to be./// explain filling up the visitors side at Sam's every onther weekend.... Wes b/c of the travel manage to fill the reserved and some of the adjacent sides but thats it... It hard to do .. trust me... it not fun seeing a game your suppose to close out by halftime... Just for the record, I dont think Traveling well and Die Hard means the same thing, LF travels well, when we are winning, but we are no where near die hard, for example, in 2005 and 2006 LF was down to San Benny by about 10 with five minutes to go and about 1/3 of the fans started to head out, when this happens it is hard to call our fans die hard, and Im kinda glad they missed those amazing comebacks |

yeah, but those pictures and articles, except from the game in weslaco this past year are home games, not away games.

Our community supports the team win or lose. That's the way it's been and that's the way it'll always be. Of course you have your regular fans that get up and leave when your team is losing, but which team doesn't have these fans?

nobody said you don't raiden, but you don't pack em in by any means. judging by some of your home games, you guys could easily fill up the visitors side of almost any stadium in the valley, but you don't always do that.

Our community supports the team win or lose. That's the way it's been and that's the way it'll always be. Of course you have your regular fans that get up and leave when your team is losing, but which team doesn't have these fans? That happen to us when we lost last year in the playoff. Alot of fans left at the end of the 3rd qt. No team deserves that. the Kids work the butt of and so of this so called fans abandon them. this happen to every team not only Mercedes or E-E. Its a little disheartening to the kids when they look up at the stands and see them start to leave. Alot of have made it a point to go after the game and congratulate the kids even though they win or lose. I think their are alot of fan the are die hard fans do this in every team. |
