mercedes wouldn't come to mind so quickly in this discussion. i'm thinking harlingen, donna, lf, weslaco, those are just the games that i've seen. harlingen travels really well, so does donna. lf is pretty good, and weslaco is good too. the only thing about weslaco doesn't always fill em up. neither does lf, but as far as i can remember, harlingen and donna bring a lot of people.

mission used to travel really well and fill up their home side on home games. EE has a lot of bandwagon jumpers, but they jump off after the first bump. mercedes brings a decent sized crowd but nothing overwhelming. there's plenty of empty seats on the home side at a mercedes game. edinburg used to bring out a big group, idk about now.

sorry tigercrazy, not consistently. even with the mishak/alex game going on 2 years ago there, it still wasn't filled. don't get me wrong, you guys bring a good sized crowd, better than EE's anyway, but it's not always filled, and they're not always the loudest either. don't worry, weslaco isn't always what they should be for their panthers either. however, when they do get going, it shakes the whole block.

Hey wp, how come you all don;t support the Wild Cats. Their from your hometown. Inspite of their record, maybe a larger crowd could pump em up. You have the people to help them out. They bleed purple also. I know if Mercedes had a second team, that would be awsome. I'm there, how about you Mercedes peeps??

at the jungle, i've been to my fair share of wildcats games. a good friend of mine coaches for them, i go whenever i can. they however do not bleed purple. those are their words, not mine. i know that people over there, not just coaches, want to put as much space between themselves and the panthers as possible. if it was up to a few coaches, there would be no purple on their uniform at all. i wish them luck every year, and i hope they do well, but why come out to support someone when they want nothing to do with you?

Then why not set up your own rivalry and play each other .....believe me it would get all of weslacos fans going again...EXAMPLE "THE BIRD BOWL"

there's a lot to that game RR, there's plenty of people who would love to see it happen, including me. i think it would be an absolutely great game, but it won't happen. neither coach is dodging, but the administration, all the way up to the super, won't let it happen. maybe this new group of board members and new super (possibly) will request the coaches play this out. it would surely sell out. people would come from all over. it would get pretty heated.
