I remember hearing that some of my classmates got "rocked" by some Mercedes kids when they were passing through "murder's row" after a JV game. Broke about 7-8 windows on the bus. One guy was injured pretty bad after catching a rock to the head. His injury required stitches. This must have been about 12-13 years ago. Same thing happened to me after a basketball tournament in EE. A friend got cut up pretty bad with the shattered glass. I wish more was done to kids who do this stuff. They just don't get how dangerous it is. I had kid throw rock a my truck after a Mercedes game. But I got a hold of the kid that hit my truck with a rock and took him to the Mercedes PD. His dad had to pay for the damages to my truck. When we use to play Donna it use to happen to us on the Bus. As soon as we would get on the truck the coach would tell everyone to close the window and to put out helmets on. Its a shame but this does happen in every city. E-E, Mercedes, Donna, Weslaco and so on.

I don't think that stuff has happened in LF in a long time if it ever did. If it did, it was probably during the Port Isabel rivaly days. I know I'm always worried about parking around Sams Stadium but that's just because of theft or break ins. San Benito was bad after the stadium opener a couple of years ago. Bunches of LF vehicles were damaged.

We used to park also with the Los Fresnos fan and nobody ever said anything happen to their cars.

i remember when i was a senior mvfb and we needed to beat harlingen to get in. they were there in full force. that night was crazy. our side was packed, and every seat except for a few scattered one's on the visitor's side were filled. them and donna are the only one's that i know that will come out regardless of the record. i hear that during that 2-8 season the 'skins had they still had a good crowd at every game.

Hey Corb, San Benito has ALWAYS been bad about that stuff. If you have a red car and park in San Benito, watch out. They will sometimes trash it. The pitiful part is that it doesn't even have to be football season for it to happen.

San Benito and Harlingen are Hatfields and McCoys. Not much love between them when it comes to football.
