Has anyone seen this show on HBO? It was a 7 part miniseries that just ended. It is based on a true account of Marines in the 1st Recon Battalion and their first 40 days in the recent Iraq war. Now I was never in the military but at times it seemed like I wasnt watching a tv show but a documentary.
Just curious to hear someone's thoughts on the show who has either served in Iraq or was a Marine.

I saw all 7 episodes.
My take.
I SUSPECT, they were pretty accurate at the established chain of command and how it HAS to stay intact EVEN if you have a moron as a officer.
I not sure if I believe how "Officers" can be so dumb and allowed to make bad/decisions and NOT be questioned.
I not sure if I believe that enlisted personnel 'word' is not 'equal' to an officers word. And an Officers account is final even if there are enlisted soldiers that witnessed otherwise.
