#3 team in the valley according to the paper is, Los Fresnos I love that pick. It's great. According to some, we've lost everyone and yet the boys still get picked that high. I sure hope they play that well when they put the pads on. |

who cares about these pre-season polls anyway. last year everyone and their mother all over the valley knew that weslaco was by no means the #1 team in the valley. they just weren't there yet at the beginning of the year. the only one that should matter is the one that comes out in the end. before the playoffs last year it was very clear that harlingen south was the best team in the valley. they had steam-rolled through the toughest district overall in the valley. during the playoffs is a different story, but i don't put too much stock in these pre-season polls. they're usually way off, especially the one's from here......

since the last one that comes out is after the last week of regular season football.......i wasn't including the playoffs....i only mentioned them because i knew someone would come along eventually and say they didn't play like it in the playoffs.....
