which one of those girls was a cheerleader. there was one that was throwing shirts and footballs up to the top of the stands this year. she had a cannon. Callate! (or are you being serious?) |

I will just say this....
Those girls gave their hearts & souls to those Softball Coaches for 4 years and not only that but they provided great recognition to Mercedes softball during their 4 years their as the best athletic program the high school had during their 4 years.
I will never know the complete story, but IMO those two coaches owed these young ladies more than to drop the ball on something as simple as this. Never mind that we as parents and her Select Team coach went out of our way to take them to get seen by college coaches when not once did either one of them make a single inquiry to any school about these girls..
Like I said these seniors gave their heart and soul to the program, and I can only speak for mine but those coaches lost the respect of these girls with this incident and its a shame to because these are the type of girls you want to come back and help you put on clinics or talk to the younger ones so that they understand what they need to do to keep the tradition going that is "MERCEDES TIGERS SOFTBALL".
I will always cheer for Mercedes Softball because my heart is with all Mercedes programs, but I will not be cheering for those two coaches.
