I think the Cowboys can go 9-0 until their bye week. Just get in the playoffs and go from there.

Cowboys open minicamp without Owens, frustrated Glenn ESPN.com news services
Updated: June 17, 2008, 4:29 PM ET The buzz at the Cowboys' three-day minicamp that began Tuesday had more to do with two players who weren't working out at Valley Ranch.
Receiver Terrell Owens has been excused for the duration of the camp for what the team called personal family matter out of town, while Terry Glenn told ESPN's Ed Werder that he wants to be released if owner Jerry Jones continues to bar him from preparing for the season by attempting to force him to sign an injury waiver.
"I'm not signing any waiver," said Glenn, who said he wants to move on with his career if the Cowboys no longer want him.
While the receiver has not been able to practice and has done his own workouts, Glenn has seen his own personal doctor in Columbus, Ohio, who performed his right knee surgery last year. Both believe the health of his knee is not an issue.
Jones is demanding that Glenn agree to reduce his base salary from $1.7 million to $500,000 if he reinjures his right knee. Jones took a swipe at Glenn when he recently said he paid Glenn a $5 million roster bonus last offseason and only got four regular-season plays for the money.
Glenn twice underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in an effort to play last season. Jones praised Glenn at the time for ignoring doctors who wanted to perform microfracture surgery that requires a full year of rehabilitation and threatened to end the 33 year-old receiver's career.
The Cowboys said Tuesday that Owens' absence has nothing to do with drug testing or any other NFL-related issues. Owens was in Dallas until Tuesday morning, when he left town to attend to his situation.
"He didn't want to go into it, and I really don't want to either," coach Wade Phillips said. "It's a family matter and just leave it at that. It's not anything more than that."
Owens was at the Valley Ranch facility Tuesday morning, but then left before the first of the team's two practice sessions to catch a flight.
Phillips said Owens talked to him Monday, but wouldn't elaborate on that conversation or where T.O. was going.
Jones did not stop to talk to reporters while escorting sponsors and other guests off the field and into the building after heavy winds and an approaching thunderstorm cut short the team's morning workout.
Witten and other teammates didn't seem concerned about Owens' absence.
"It wasn't anything that you guys would go crazy about," quarterback Tony Romo said, without elaborating. "I don't think it's a big deal. He's been here so much. He's worked his butt off. I don't know that [being absent all week] would be a big deal. I'm sure he'll try to be here if he can."
Owens participated in optional workouts the past four weeks. Heading into the final year of his contract, he recently signed a three-year extension worth around $27 million.
"Him missing time certainly is not a big deal, especially a veteran player that knows how to play and do the things and has worked as he has this offseason," Phillips said.
"He's been here so much. He's worked his butt off," Romo said. "I don't know that [being absent all week] would be a big deal. I'm sure he'll try to be here if he can."
dude what a cry baby he got paid 5 million last year and didnt play and now he doesnt want to sign a waiver just in case he cant play....dang i guess more time this season for the younger recievers

I was just reading that on the cowboys website right now. Glenn should just sign it. What does he expect for JJ to do, I mean the chances of him getting hurt again are even greater than before.

That is why they should either have him on the trading block(which not many teams would spend the kind of money he wants) o just release him. They did fine w/o him last year and if it's going to make a distraction then cut him.

Romo is a future hall of famer, to me it looks like he really loves the game like how brett favre did. A lot of guys say they do love the game but you and I know, they are there for the money. I think the cowboys will have a great yr and should make the super bowl.

I think that the 'Boys should make it to the Super Bowl this year. As far as going undefeated, that would be a tough feat but I sure wouldn't mind seeing it.

He needs to play consistent and get to the big game. Alot of pressure will be on him so let's see how he handles it.

Romo won't do it solo, he will only be as good as his supporting cast. Hope the Cowboys continue to pick up the NFL's quality rejects.

Romo can only do so much. It'll be interesting to see how this team bounces back after another 1st rd loss.
