i dont think its much of a rivalry between the two sites more of retubution... not revenge.. they took something from us thiking they could manage it and control it and flash all the adds and pop ups ... boy were they mistaken...

I think they feel they can buy supporters. What they might not understand that is has never been about $$$ for any of us, starting with me. I was never offered nor ever asked for any type of compensation or notoriety. Everything I did and still do was and is voluntary to keep the valley sports talk going.
I enjoy having complete autonomy over the site. Nobody can ever pull the plug on us, unless I allow a breach in the TOS, which I won't.
This move was a blessing in disguise. My hands were tied in the ultimate decisions of the board. Now that we have this, there is actually less stress.

it wasn't that big a deal at first, the changing of sites, but then the pop-ups started, and the buddy list?? why do we need that. i don't even like most of the people who post in here.......people's buddy list would be limited to themselves and maybe 1 other person.....we're here to talk football, not make friends and have tea parties.....

I just stopped by over there to see what was going on....I read that and left a message saying that everyone pretty much went on to greener pastures. What was wrong with that LF? I am still here all the time and was mainly one of the first ones saying that place sucked!

see with institutions or corporations.. its alwaysa about $$.. thats the buety of the internet... all you need is one person one group to say we arn't going to put up with the standard given to us and choose to walk aout.. with our heads high and creat something bigger better than what was made proior...
tellyou the truth ... when ppl started pm ing about the new site and saw how littel it was moving i was getting a littel scared... i didnt think it could work.. then saw the changes they mad and how diffent it was and started seeing ppl coming over to the other side... slowly but surly... they came .. i guess everyone was wondering "how bad it could be" then they saw ... first hand

no i just ment to say that ppl are still wondering what happened ... and that you cleaverly said that the MOD is at greener pastures,,... i know what you ment and the Reporters on the site know exactly what you ment... i thinkit was very clever... but yea.. should have posted the adress to give PSJA21 an idea that we all are waiting for him
