What I don't understand was that they were roaming around us on a CONSTANT basis in the old forum and never showed their face. Now, they're all over the place.

Well i was surfing through RGVsports.com forum and it' dead. Most of the topics there are old with like ""latest post, 1 or 2 days ago"".
But damn i dare for someone to go there and bomd there forum posting links to this website

Now, they're all over the place. well we know for a fact that they did come on here(WADE bAKER ARTICLE Sstolen from RPM) whether they [posted or not i dont know... Mod could since he had access to the IP adresses... Maybe we got them all wrong.. OR not... i mean.. as a journalist they seem to have an air of superiority... i mean we have this forum and they have articles that get distributed across the valley... they have direct access to coaches while we have to result to insider info and unnamed sources... b/c odf the ananimity we have here... do they think they are better than us... I think so.. but its my O/// do they hate the fact that we have direct acsess to a medium where we can distribute news info faster than they can ... HELL Yea... i mean isnt that the purpose for the whole blog/pluck it/ MYSPACE/ crap they have going on... But they envy the fact that we were who we were... we loved the anonimous persona we all created and how they maybe contributed to the old forum but could not get the recognition they do when thier name is on a paper... Would i like to be a reporter.. Hell No .. i like being a fan much more... why hide my dislike over another team (persay WES) cause they have too hide their O.. I took journalism once in HS.. never took it again.. Why bother hiding motives really.. does it make you look more none bais.. sure but dosnt mean you dont feel it inside.. I mean how can i be out there giving an interview to a coach or a player then go out and pick against them when ever these pickit colums appear... your just tell the team or player that you didnt believe a word he said, and no matter how much they think they improved and believe they are ready you always knew that they didn't have a chance... So.. maybe Freedom Newspaper gave into the reporters... maybe they wanted to be part of a forum where #1 they would be known(for recognitions sake) #2 they could use info said ont he forum since it would be the most likely place scandals and other things of that sort would get posted on first... #3 they(the reporters) would be able to control every aspect of the forum(and not chuck, RPM, and all the other Mods)... and finally a place where thier bias could notbe known... i mean dont you think if we would have found out who these reporters were on the forum we would call them out on there lack of writting skills and investigative reporting... and dont you think thier editors would have seen the mockery and told them to stop posting... THE HAND FULL OF REPORTERS CAN NEVER COMPARE TO THE VAST WEB OF INFO WE HAVE CREATED, NOR CAN THEY TRY TO CONTROL IT.... thank you MOD... |

Yea i can only come to the conclusion they took over something that was already established by the original members...oh well at least they have a place of their own now and can continue advertising it in their papers...cause it doesnt seem to be working.

I believe Jaime Eladio actually posted a few times and got lambasted!!!
And well, we all know Wade Baker read us because of his legendary article based on our info.
Funny thing is that if the guy had just waited until something was confirmed, he would have been on the cutting edge instead of a laughing stock. I truly believe RPM's report scared the school board to back away from the move they were going to make.

I recall that one day, the mod team was doubled because the "new" Webmaster gave mod status to Freedom Paper writers.
Sweet Ninjas, do you work for Freedom papers in some capacity? I remember that you were placed on the mod team.

i think the backlash twards eladio was unnessasary but understand where it came from.. i myself got tired of conatzers lil story about seeing someone at a resturante and then going into a stroy... these guys are full of it.. and so are we. the difrence is we know it.. and they think they are serious journalists...
like i said we have created a vast network where coaches, fans and players come on and express O.. that would never be said ON THE RECORD...
HOW CAN YOU COMPARE... we have hundreds of ppl who log in who each have hundreds of sources and they have a crew of about 20 max reporters... and there sources.. lets just say have to speack off the record and sure reporters know more than what they write but alot of it has to stay close to the vest b/c of their promise to keep it out... we on the other hand go drinking with them and tell us anything and everything over a few bukets and never express to be off the record.. but we keep them like us as an unanimous source..

I believe he may be cause he is very active on the other forum... just a guess.. but why be over there when you can be here... i know i read Redbirds comment over PSJAN21 post which was looking of all of us and said he did not find the same ppl like RPM, and MOD... and redbird said that the MOD had moved to greener pastures...

alot of these guys in the who's missing thread seem to post occasionally on the other site.. I believe most of them are reporters and feel obligated to keep the forum the stole active..

is that why all of a sudden it changed from three MODs to somthing around 8 or 9... slap in the face to you guys... what was with al the bat cave senario.. would thyey be in there aswell // i would assume so since they had Mod status..
HOw did it feel mod... to be in a cave with a whole bunch of ppl that did not belong... and ahd earned nothing and managed to crawl into a luxuious postion like MODship by cryong to thier bosses... why did it even happen.. was it something we did...

im sure they all wanted a part of the Forum//.. it was bigger than their sports articles... i mean the whole Mag came off of the success of the Forum we helped to creat not of theri own .. that had to hurt... Freedom didnt come to them and say ... We think you all doo such a great job and want to write a Mag... NO .. they said we like the amout of hits we get from the website and are wondering if you guys can produce somting similar to it in a Mag style format..
