Jason Bay for Manny isn't that bad of a deal. Someone mentioned earlier that Manny is one of the greatest hitters of his generation; take not that his generation is aging quickly. So, what do the Sox do? Out with the old(er) in with the new...a fresher bat and fresher legs that won't give up on fly balls out in LF.
I, for one, really like this trade for Boston, but LA didn't exactly come away empty handed either. Great pickups for all three teams involved.

Well Bay got the job done tonight and made a nice play in LF. Hope Bay can continue to produce because the RedSox are going to need him and the rest of the guys to step it up now. It's August and this is where the contenders seperate from the pretenders. Go BoSox!
