I plan on it but he did say he was going to authorize me to re roof my entire house even though I only lost a few shingles so I have to tread lightly. Don't you have to pay your deductible first? Allstate told me that before they would pay for anything I would have to pay 2% of the total cost of my house first. I questioned them about the $500 deductible I thought I was supposed to pay, but they said that after Katrina all insurance companies go by the 2% rule. This, for me at least, is pretty expensive, but I guess paying 2 grand for a new roof ain't bad.

A new roof is a sweet deal but, under normal circumstances a kid can't drown under a leaky roof.
I'm going to be out just under 2 grand for different reasons also.

I wonder if anyone bought any generators from thoses guys that were selling them off a trailer...they were on the news and consumers were urged to be careful because of potential warranty problems and such. It's a damn shame how some people are too eager to take advantage of the misfortunes of others to make a fast buck." Caveot emptor."...buyer beware.

Depends on what your adjustor says. Mine still hasn't shown up. I'm getting a little aggravated.
