I am back . . . lol. Power went out here at about 4PM Wednesday. STill no power. Estimated time of power return: Thursday  I am at my sister in laws house. I got tons of pics and video to post when I get the chance. Harlingen and RH got crapped on Rio Hondo's old stadium lost half of the scoreboard, the goalposts were mangled, and the top half of the press box was on the bottom of the bleachers. The old LJ's . . . the canopy was blown a block away. The high school is still being used as a shelter. But yeah. I am okay people! lol. |

my brothers and I were wading in the streets (water up to my chest . . . I am 6'1") and playing in the backyard . . . jumping in the pool, taking the wind and rain right in the face, etc. It was fun  |

Pics are just of my neighborhood . . . seeing as how my car had water in it and my camera died before everything was cleaned up a bit.
If any of you know Harlingen:
If you are going down Morgan towards TSTC . . . pass KMart and Pendleton Park. Next on the left is a BINGO hall. Their sign fell over and took down 5 or 6 light poles with it.
Also, in RH, the water in the Arroyo on Thursday rose alot, and ended up about 15-20 feet under the bridge.

I heard Rio Hondo was pretty bad, my hubby's worker, lives there and he described driving into "Lake Rio Hondo", after Dolly and the "Lake" had waves and all!
La Feria had lots of flooding too, and wind damage lots of trees down power came back for some including me (yeah!!) on Saturday around sixish. Still though not all of LF is all back up with power. Kinda felt we were neglegted, as I would see convoy's of electric trucks going through La Feria for days, before I saw any actually work in La Feria. There is ALOT of electric vehicles parked at the Mercedes stock show groudns. Also traffic was re-directed to go through LF - so traffic at times got pretty bad.

i JUST got light last night at about 9pm... sucked being with out electricity... what sucked the most was having my lap top and a 42" plasma that both cost an arm and a leg staring at me (mocking me really)
WHAT SUCKED THE MOST WAS THE LACK OF INFORMATION... I FELT MY BRAIN OOOZING OUT OF MY NOSE... light went out here at 5:30am wendsday morning after i had stayed up all night looking online and the weather channel for updates.... as soon as they went i began to pace back and forth ... i told the wifa nextime i,m buying a generator for my tv and laptop... and if theirs enough power will connect the fridge and a/c.....
