I sucked in Junior High! HS ball was the best. Never played JV. Played Varsity soph. year. and senior year made it to the all-star game! Best football years!

i should've been picked to go to the all-star game seeing as how i was one of 2 valley linemen selected all-state.....but i guess that kind of logic doesn't make sense to people down here....

stuff like that happens every year.....i remember one year weslaco had this receiver named art perez.....he wasn't selected all-district, nor all-valley, nor all-area, but he was selected 2nd team all state......that's funny isn't it?

Dude, were in the RGV. We don't get much respect down here. We never have until somebody makes a serious run like PI did in '94.

yeah i agree. i remember when i was in school i wasn't exactly well liked by my peers on the football team. so when it came time to pick team awards i didn't get a single one, but i was alright with it because i got all-district, all-valley, all-area, all-state, and an all-american award from some website......
