Metallica is releasing a special edition box set in prepartion for the release of their new album Death Magnetic. Here is the info on the box set. www.metallica.com/index.asp?item=601002Here is the artwork for the new album.  Album is being produced by Rick Rubin. I cant wait. |

I think with the addition of Rick Rubin as producer we are going to get a old school album. he has produced System Of A Down, Audioslave, Slayer, Slipknot, Danzig. Also Beastie Boys and Johnny Cash. With that type of resume it has to be good. |

no matter how much i have hated to hear their new music...(and i had to deal with two songs of thier new abu when it came out in concert)... I think Metallica has the bes Show(production) in the world....
I can still feell the flames the fly up 50ft in the air at their concert. during ONE.........

they have to i think... they like every body see teh writing on the wall...
the only reason Metallica used that crazy butt drum beat on thier last album was b/c the Stripes, and others were having a success with that type of beat.. but it sounded ugly on the sait anger cd.... can tbelieve i said the name... now i cant take that stupid song put of my head....
how was saint anger taken here in the local radio stations... i was not here.... in Dallas they refused to play the song and when they did they would say that by contract they were forced to play it..

no matter what metallica puts out, it's usually tolerable....i expect the same from this record...but how many times can you be unforgiven before you stop trying to get someone's forgiveness?
