I was telling my dad not to worry. I told him that since we moved to elsa 22 years ago (used to live in edcouch) it has never flooded.
However, what worries me is the tropical storm that hit houston a few years ago (allison) that dumped 40 inches of rain...darn it, i guess we're getting sand bags...better safe than sorry...you never know. this thing could linger out there for a while and just let us have it.

40 inches of rain is massive, but 40 inches in Houston would be a lot worse than 40 inches in the valley.

I got peanutbutter and jelly, turkey, and tuna...But I do have my BBQ pit in the back porch to put some fajitas that I have in the freezer.

I live in a rural area, so flood waters have more space to go (other than inside my house).

I live on a big hill, I'm not worried. I am going to stand outside in the wind and the rain drinking. Bring it on Dolly.
