try 25 years. Like I said i go to work, come home, on Sundays I go fishing or go out with my wife. Wednesday we go to the Island for lunch and just drive around. just enjoying the time I spend with her. Now that my son is up in Dallas attending DeVry I will go up there with my wife and daughter once a month to visit and enjoy the time up there. I enjoy it. So yes its a life. devry huh? you must be very proud.....i know i wouldn't be......well sounds like some kind of a life.....everyone has to live one right...yours is just a little less exciting than most..... but at least his not like you WP. Depending on GOVERNMENT HAND OUTS TO GO TO SCHOOL. I'M paying for 70% of it. I'M also paying for his APT. How much are you paying or shall I say Mommy and Daddy. Not bad for someone that you put down for driving a truck. And DeVry is capitalize. |

Wp chill out, devry is a good school. Whats important is thats one more kid out there furthering their education.

mvfb, i'm happy for him, honestly i am.....i mean he's pursuing some kind of higher learning, but there's cheaper and better alternatives to devry......i had a rep come make a presentation to a bunch of my students......they don't deliver well rounded professionals........in and out as fast as possible is not a good thing when we're talking about education......

judging by the boys posts it seems like he's rather intelligent and thus capable of having more choices than devry......if that's all he could accomplish well that's well and good but i thought at EE they taught them to set the bar high.....devry isn't that high.....

Not true at all... Opportunity is what you make of it. Furthermore, you friends can't find a job (i'm assuming they are living in the RGV) b/c their isn't very much opportunity. |

If you want to talk about cheap and bad alternatives, you're talking about UTPA. Over the last 20 years, the school has dropped dramatically in overall quality (undergrad programs). Their retention rates were horrible and academic standards were pretty low. |

im sorry but wp your comments about lmka's son and the college he attends is way out of line and really none of your business. you've never attended devry so you can't speak on its quality of academics. lmka has raised his son right, great football player, graduated high school, and now enrolled in college making a future for himself. who cares of you wouldn't be proud of that, I'M PROUD OF THAT!

That's completely false! I have a friend who attended Princeton. his roomates graduated with engineering degrees etc and ended up working at the gap, because they couldn't find jobs |
