that's why he didn't listen to you. how can you pray to him if you don't believe he's even there? like i implied when i first posted in this topic, i kinda go back and forth between believing and not believing. I mean, i wouldn't have gone to church for 3 years if i didn't believe at all. |

yeah right. younger or not, PC and quick will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER be in the same sentence unless the words "is not" are put in between the 2. pobresito......first he comes in here demanding that the thread be deleted, then when i tell him to shut up he gets mad. like he's someone important...

Well, back to the topic, YES, I believe... I believe in the One God who created the universe, and who sent His Son to die for the world, so that we might be reconciled to Him, but only if we believe, because we couldn't live according to His Law (Torah - the first 5 books of the Old Testament). I believe that Jesus was the fulfillment of the Law, and that His death, and ultimately, His resurrection is what gives us life, present and eternal, and hope, present and eternal.

let see, whats more depressing...eternal life in heaven living in paradise bouncing on clouds. or eternal sleep where nothing is nothing. what do you think>? lol, i didn't say it wasn't depressing...the thought of eternal sleep is very depressing. I was asking if this was your main motivation for believing in a higher power. my motivation was my parents. that's how they raised us. and I do like the thought of an afterlife. |
