Hey Lemon, thanks for sending me the new site. Now, with that said I think Rio Hondo is going to be the team to beat this year again but of course you can't ever count out Port Isabel. I think this is going to be a tough district again. Good Luck to all the ball clubs.

Well this got going pretty fast. Not bad. New look, but same old gang. My say for the day.
Don't underestimate the new teams coming into our district. They have something to prove.
Think if it was the other way around.

1. Port Isabel gets a good boost from some of their JV's moving up to varisty. Some good size coming up.

2. Rio Hondo has some good skill players on offense but lose some defensive players that were part of a good defense last year.

3. Raymondville has several returning starters from their district 31 championship team, but there is two other teams couple notches better than them in this district.

4. Zapata returning most of their defense will help them in trying to get a playoff spot.

5. Progresso got a taste of winning last year and return most of their starters on both sides of the ball and this year should win some district games, which was their downfall last year.

6. La Feria should be a middle of the pack team in district.

7. Lyford has a good passing attack but that offense leaves their defense on the field to much .

8. Hidalgo basically in a rebuilding year after losing most of their starters from last year.
