I like the Pluck you part...LMFAO!!!!!!!!  That actually wasn't an obscene comment. Goes back the the French reward for cutting the fingers of the English long-bow men back in the 1400's or 1500's. Hard to pull a bow back without either or both of them. The English response was "pluck you." |

IDK but at first I thought I read fu** you but then it only said pluck you but since they did the "other" forum with that program it made sense.

When the two groups were within ear shot, the English would yell, " We can still pluck you" and show them their middle fingers...yes, they would shoot the bird and basically say "Pluck you", which obviously has a different connotation nowadays. |

That's a pretty cool vid. Never saw that. It's a cool piece of history.
There's another piece out there that isn't spoken of much. The starvation of the french that caused their great revolution was in large part caused because of their aversion to the potato. While everyone else able to eat during the little ice age, the french refused to plant or eat a potato. Nothing else would grow. They then began to demand food from the government and the government couldn't help. Pretty soon, everyone is up in arms and the rest is history.
The little ice age wasn't all bad. It helped us a great deal during our revolution.
