Mayweather to train Augustus!
Thursday, July 24 2008
"Slick" Nick Sampson and Macke Roberts of Sin City Sportshave announced that current WBO Oriental welterweight beltholder Emanuel "The Drunken Master" Augustus will soon be working with a new trainer in former two-time world champion Roger Mayweather, trainer of the recently retired Floyd Mayweather Jr. "People in the boxing world will now take me serious and see that I'm ready to win a world title," stated Augustus. "I am honored and privileged that a boxing trainer the caliber of Roger Mayweather has agreed to help me in my quest to win a world title." Roger Mayweather stated "Emanuel Augustus is a natural born fighter who knows how to fight. Once we get together and improve on a few things in the gym we have a good chance to win a world title."

ibp did you catch that fight augustus had at the dodge arena a few years back.....the one where the fight got stopped because the ref didn't like that augustus was dancing around? i thought that was BS!!! i think it cost him a belt......i think it was against barrientes......

margarito can get pretty exciting when he gets going, i just like cotto's strength. he can really get after you......robert would've killed both of them........AT THE SAME TIME!!!
