since my 2 favorite things to eat at a restaurant are burgers and fajitas, i thought i'd make some threads to find the best in the rgv. your responses dont have to be limited to beef fajitas.

I can tell you who sells the best fajitas (IMO) in the surrouding areas.... WESTGATE MEAT MARKET.
The others don't compare: Charlie's (in Elsa) Rios (in Edcouch @ a close 2nd place) Guerra's (? On 1015 & Mile 13.5)

i was thinking more along the lines of restaurant buzzy, but 6th street market here in weslaco has some good fajitas
as far as my restaurant pic, the restaurant that i liked the fajitas from is on the island. i want to say it's jesse's restaurant, but i'm not sure. it's right on the strip though. it's got a nice feel on the inside and the fajitas were perfectly seasoned and very very tender.

Why would I pay for some fajitas @ a restaurant when I know I can make them better in my own pit!

because it gets hot sometimes. i know i make better tasting fajitas than a whole bunch of restaurants i've been too, but buzzy these fajitas i'm talking about were really really good. the only fajitas i've tried that are better than the one's at this restaurant were made by this guy that cooks at the place i go play cards at. other than that, nothing compares.

Where's Texas meats in Brownsville? Never heard of that one.
Bigo's.
They all suck on this side of the border. In Matamoros, it's a different story. They really do them well.

The best Fajitas in the RGV can be found at La Tejana Meat Market in Mission/Palmview area. It is located on 1 1/4 on LA HOMA ROAD. They're the best!! They season them for you and they also do a thin cut removing the extra fat. We cook some BBQ Fajitas every school year for the staff and they just love them to death. We've done this for about 8 years running and have yet to hear one complaint about the fajitas. Deliciosas!!!

I personally like the fajitas that Ramos Bar-B-Cue in McAllen makes. Of course I mean the resturaunt that is located on North Tenth about a mile South of University Drive. Those suckers are tasty.
